In his forceful statement on Radio Seis Bariloche, Dr. Carlos Broitman exposed serious irregularities in the case and demanded that all evidence supporting the defendants' version of events finally be allowed to be presented. During the arraignment hearing, several women were present to make statements but were not allowed to speak.

The truth is that they didn't let them leave.

The alleged victim stated that she herself decided to come to Argentina to have her baby, with the help and care of her mother's friend. That personal decision set off a chain of events that, according to Dr. Broitman, resulted in a serious violation of rights.

At the hospital in Bariloche, a nurse suspected—without solid evidence—that the young woman was a victim of human trafficking when she saw her accompanied by a translator and her mother's friend. That suspicion turned into a bigger story: a doctor raised the alarm and a judicial operation was launched that ended up isolating and punishing the young woman.

Dr. Broitman reported that the young woman had her phone taken away, was isolated, and was locked up for 14 days in appalling conditions, without adequate clothing for herself or her baby and with food restrictions, all based on a chain of unverified assumptions.

Illegal tracking and collusion with the car rental company

Dr. Carlos Broitman also reported that, in an intelligence operation carried out in conjunction with the car rental company, a tracking device was placed in the vehicles of those involved in order to monitor them. He described this practice as completely illegal and demanded an investigation into who ordered and authorized this surveillance, as well as the determination of criminal responsibility for the placement of the device.

Dr. Broitman emphasized that, even though there were witnesses ready to testify and several women present willing to give their version of events, they were not allowed to testify. He stated that this prevented the truth from coming to light and that the case has been built on assumptions and background information unrelated to the main event.

Dr. Carlos Broitman formally requested a hearing before Prosecutor Arrigo to present all the evidence gathered and demand that, at that session, he finally be allowed to reveal the truth to the prosecution and the relevant authorities.

Complaints from prison

Tamara, Konstantin Rudnev's wife, also spoke during the broadcast, denouncing that her husband is suffering abuse in prison, a lack of medical care, and inadequate legal assistance, painting a picture of violated rights that further aggravates the situation.

Dr. Carlos Broitman concluded his speech by calling for transparency, access to evidence, and guarantees of due process. He demanded that the illegal tracking be investigated and that reparations be made to those who were isolated and deprived of their right to testify.
